First-Ever Kings Spirit Scholarship Recipients Awarded


On this past Friday, May 24th, the Class of 2013 graduates at Victory Christian Center School celebrated the 20th commencement exercises in the Dome located at 7228 Kings Ridge Drive. It was a fairly intimate class size 0f 18 students each unique.

The VCCS Alumni & Friends Association awarded its first scholarship named the Kings Spirit Scholarship Stipend. Two Senior Scholarships of $250.00 each for student that character and work ethic meet the qualifications of the Kings Spirit Scholarship both in and outside the classroom. The 2013 recipients were seniors Te'Ericka Jackson and Nhi Tran. The VCCS Alumni and Friends also provided monetary gifts to each graduating, honor student.


It is the goal of the VCCS A&F: To enhance the legacy of Victory Christian Center School by contributing towards VCCS’ missions and goals to develop successful and productive Christian leaders in today’s society and to generate funds to benefit the academic, athletic and extracurricular programs…” is just a part of VCCS A&F’s Vision.

This vision is reflected in a student’s character, responsibility, and leadership traits shown in their everyday lives. King's Spirit Scholarship Stipend will be awarded to students who, among other traits, demonstrate responsibility, character, and leadership during their high school career. For example, students participate in school clubs or school sports teams, support family goals, are active in non-profit organizations, or volunteer in the community.  Additional information on each of the winners will be given soon!
