Jackson Accepts Philip Morris Position

Jonathan Jackson has accepted a position as a Business Analyst for Philip Morris in Richmond, VA. Upon graduating from Winston-Salem State University in May, Jonathan will begin his new assignment.

He served as WSSU freshman and sophomore class president and received "Student of the Year Award" his freshman year. Jonathan, the 2009-2010 WSSU Student Body President, served as Vice-President his junior year. Through his leadership roles, Jonathan mentored fellow VCCS alumnus, David Butler, who was just elected WSSU Student Body President.

It's truly a tale of two kings, whose love for God and unity empowered them to dominate in their college environment. When David arrived on campus as a freshman, Jonathan eagerly took him under his wings and encouraged him spiritually, socially and academically. He recognized David's strong leadership traits from high school, and the two became suite mates Jonathan's final year. As a result of Jonathan's grooming, David followed in his footsteps to become class president his freshman and sophomore years and now WSSU Student Body President.
